Magdalena Kmak specializes in migration and minority studies. Her research focuses on the multifaceted relationship between law and mobility, especially in the context of global migration and minority regimes. Kmak’s research interests include new minorities, exile studies and migration history, mobility studies, international law, human rights, and international and European refugee and migration law.
The installation of professors is an academic ceremony where new professors are installed in their positions by the university’s rector and give their installation lectures, which are open to the public.
