The ETMU Conference 2026, Towards Good Relations in Mobile Futures: The Role of Trust for Migration and Belonging, will take place on 5–6 November 2026 (with a pre-conference on 4 November) in Turku, Finland. The conference will be hosted at Åbo Akademi University and organised by the Mobile Futures project.

Location

Most of the conference will be organized in Arken. Address: Tehtaankatu 2, 20500 Turku.

Accommodation

Participants are asked to make their own reservations and pay for their own accommodation.

Scandic Julia offers ETMU conference participants the accommodation to the following price (between 4-6th of November, the prices are per one night):

Single room (incl. VAT) €105.00
Double room (incl. VAT) €125.00
The breakfast buffet and WIFI are included in the price. The room type is Twin Room.

Each guest books their room themselves via http://www.scandichotels.fi/?bookingcode=BABO041126 or by using the booking code BABO041126 or by calling the reservation service: +358 200 81800.

To confirm the reservation, guests must provide valid credit card information. Rooms are subject to availability and should be booked before October 21. Each guest is responsible for their own booking and pays for their room themselves by card or cash.

Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa offers ETMU conference participants the accommodation to the following price (between 4-6th of November, the prices are per one night):

Standard King Single room (incl. VAT) €94.68
Standard Twin Double room (incl. VAT) €104.75

Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and check-out must be completed by 12:00 noon.

Please note that a limited number of rooms are available at the special rate. Room reservations must be made by October 28, 2026 at 4:30 PM (Finnish time). Part of the unbooked rooms will be released from the quota already on October 21.
