Bio
Jaana Palander has a M.Sc. degree in Administrative Science at the Tampere University in 2008, with a major in Public Law. She is finalizing her doctoral studies in the same university. Currently, Palander works as a university teacher in the Law School at the University of Eastern Finland teaching Migration Law and Human Rights Law. In Mobile Futures, she will do research on trust in law and institutions in the WP2. Previously, Palander has done research on rights of migrants, family reunification, legal aid, climate migration and securitization of migration
