Bio

Sari Vanhanen completed her PhD degree in Sociology at the University of Jyväskylä in 2020. In her dissertation research, she analysed multi-agency collaboration in integration work between the public and third sector, especially from the perspective of local police work. Vanhanen works as Research Fellow in the Migration Institute of Finland. Besides, as an adult educator she has wide experience in continuing education. In Mobile Futures, her post-doctoral research in WP4 focuses on trust in the labour market from employees’ perspective. Her fields of expertise include integration work, multi-agency collaboration, formal and informal learning, proactive police work, and learning at work.
