Bio

Eveliina Lyytinen earned her degree of D.Phil. in Human Geography at the University of Oxford in 2014. Currently, Lyytinen works at the Migration Institute of Finland in INDEFI project as a Senior Research Fellow. From 2024 onwards, she will join the institute’s GATE project. In Mobile Futures, Lyytinen is involved in the WP5 on trust in everyday encounters (1,5 months in 2022-2023, 13 months in 2026-2027). Her case studies focus on elderly and undocumented migrants. Lyytinen’s expertise include urban refugees, deportation, theories of space and trust, and research ethics.
