Bio

Sari Hammar completed her PhD in Cultural Studies at the University of Joensuu in 2009 (later University of Eastern Finland). Currently, Hammar works as Service Area Director in the Deaconess Foundation. In Mobile Futures, she acts as leader of the WP 7, Trust in Futures. Her fields of expertise include diversity, migration, cross-cultural interaction, and participatory action research.
